Basic Facial (Rejuvenating/Hydrating Facial, Acne Facial, Anti-aging Facial and Relaxing Facial)

Relax and pamper yourself with our tailored basic facials. Medical-grade skin care products are chosen based on your skin-type and treatment goals. Includes deep-cleanse, toning, exfoliation, skin analysis, extractions, mask, our signature face, neck, décolleté, shoulder, arms and hands massage, and is finished with hydration and SPF application. Ranges from 30-minutes to 75-minutes with each step being customized to patients needs and concerns.

Microdermabrasion Facial

Microdermabrasion is a common procedure and incredibly safe. It is a non-invasive treatment designed to improve overall texture, tone and clarity of the skin. Microdermabrasion will help reduce the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, hyper-pigmentation, chicken pox scars, brown/age spots, enlarged pores and other skin imperfections.

It is a simple and effective form of exfoliation that uses crystals to remove the outer layer of dead or damaged skin cells, revealing a new, youthful layer of skin. Treatment begins with cleansing the patient’s skin thoroughly, removing all dirt and excess oils. Followed by a sterile diamond head that gently abrades the top layer of the skin, at the same time the dead skin cells along with any dirt are vacuumed away in a controlled manner. Finishing off with only the best medical grade products that will now penetrate deeper into the skin, replenishing natural nutrients, restoring cell activity and promoting skin health.

We recommend between 5 and 8 treatments separated between 7 and 10 days at times that are convenient for you. However, scars and discolorations may need more attention and therefore more treatments. It is encouraged that after your initial treatments that you continue to visit us for follow up treatments every 2 to 3 months to maintain results.

Chemical Peel Facial

Chemical peels are one of the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedures performed to rejuvenate the appearance of the skin. Designed to promote a process called desquamation, chemical peels assist in shedding dead skin cells. The result is brighter, softer and more luminous skin. Depending on the chemical that is being utilized, chemical peels can treat acne as well. Salicylic acid is the only chemical that interacts with water and oil making it a great choice when dealing with acne. This peel will decrease inflammation associated with breakouts, and remove unhealthy oil that the skin is producing.

At Med Cosmetics Clinic we use a unique professional rejuvenating exfoliative treatment combining 4 AHAs (Glycolic, Lactic, Malic and Tartaric) plus 2 BHAs (Salicylic and Citric). By using this combination of acids, optimal results are achieved with more even exfoliation and less irritation. These peels are naturally derived ingredients combined with acidic compounds to deliver a deep exfoliation. Removal of the top layer of skin with active ingredients will improvement of the appearance of blackheads and whiteheads, fine lines, scarring, uneven skin tone, and dull texture.

The skin is thoroughly cleansed right before the peel, to avoid any chance in infection. The chemical being used is then applied to the treatment area with a brush. The chemical is allowed to sit on the skin from several minutes up to 10 minutes depending the client’s needs and indications. Then water is used to neutralize the acid and finish the chemical reaction. A soothing collagen mask is applied followed by a moisturizer and SPF to finish.

It is always recommended to attend a series of 6 treatments with increasing intensity, time duration left on skin and time between treatments for optimal results.
